MEMBERS ONLY Learn to Sail at DYC Learn to Sail at DYC Do you want your children to do something fun and different this year? For children aged 10 to 17 years, Dalhousie Yacht Club offers Learn to Sail programs. All programs are open to the public and operate as "not-for-profit". Programs follow the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) Learn to Sail curriculum. All classes run Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm. White Sail - Level I, II, III Introductory levels, where beginners are introduced to sailing and taught the basic skills. Bronze Sail - Level IV, V Sailors are introduced to advanced sailing techniques including trapezing and spinnaker use. **NEW FOR 2011**
ADULT KEEL BOAT LESSONS We offer 8 adult sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning July 7th from 6:30-8:30pm. During the course we teach you all the basic skills of sailing on a Kirby 25, one of the fastest growing one design racing fleets on Lake Ontario!
